What can I expect at a PS UNDERGROUND event?
All we can say about that is “Expect the Unexpected”. Depending on the event you choose, it may be a family-style dinner, an elegant gala, a fun-filled brunch or a wild and crazy avant-garde culinary adventure. Join us at the table and let the experience unfold before your eyes. Each PS UNDERGROUND experience is a “Feast for the Senses”.
How long are PS UNDERGROUND events?
PS UNDERGROUND brunch events last usually between 2 and 2.5 hours
PS UNDERGROUND dinner events last usually between 3 and 3.5 hours
Will I be able to see the menu before I arrive at the event?
We consider each event a secret culinary adventure. The menu will be revealed course by course as guests enjoy the experience. It adds to the mystique that is PS UNDERGROUND. Our chefs love the freedom to be spontaneous! What they find and the local Farmer’s Market in the morning may be on the menu that same evening.
Can you accommodate guests with dietary restrictions or food allergies?
PS UNDERGROUND events are geared towards the adventurous diner. Due to the nature of our events, the secrecy of the menu and our method of service, we may not be able to accommodate some dietary restrictions. With advanced notice, we are happy to accommodate dietary restrictions such as Vegetarian, Pescatarian, Vegan or Celiac restrictions. Just list the restrictions on the order form when purchasing your seats online. If you have unique or unusual dietary restrictions we encourage you to contact us prior to purchasing your seats.
Can you accommodate children at the events?
The PS UNDERGROUND experience is intended for adults 21 years of age or older. This is due to the length of the event, the style of service, the unique communal table seating and out of respect for all our guests.
Is there alcohol at PS UNDERGROUND events?
Yes. We have a full bar at most of our PS UNDERGROUND events. Unless noted on the event description, beverages are not included in the ticket price. Our bartenders pride themselves on creating specialty cocktails that perfectly fit the theme for each event. All beverages will be billed upon consumption. A 20% gratuity will be added to all beverages. You are welcome to bring in your own wine. There is a $25 corkage fee for each bottle.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept payment online only. You can use any major credit card (Visa, MasterCard or AMEX). Cash or check orders cannot be processed.
When can I purchase seats?
We are continually adding event dates and themes based on demand. You may purchase seats just as soon as they are posted on our website. We encourage you to become a member of PS UNDERGROUND in order to receive email updates of new events on the calendar.
How do I purchase seats?
Go to the UPCOMING EVENTS page of our website. Once you select the event(s) you would like to attend and click the link. You will be taken to a new page where you can input your order information. When making your reservation, please include all your contact information (including email address and phone number) so we can communicate with you effectively. After you purchase your seats, you will receive a confirmation email from us. If you have any questions about the order process, please reach out to us.
Where are your events located?
Most of our events are held at our permanent location in Palm Springs. You will receive the address and directions upon the completion of your seat purchase. If we are holding one of our exclusive PS UNDERGROUND wandering events in a secret location, we never reveal the location until just after midnight on the day of your reservation.
What if I have tickets but I can’t attend the event?
We do not offer refunds. However, you are welcome to transfer your tickets to someone else. Please contact us at least 24 hours prior to the event so we can enter the new guest’s information. Otherwise, you can tell them to use your name at arrival. Our Facebook page is a good place to post tickets if you cannot attend an event; people often look there for last minute seats. Transferring funds for the tickets is your responsibility.
Is there a waitlist for sold out events?
Because tickets are non-refundable, once an event is sold out, it is very unlikely that tickets will become available on the PS UNDERGROUND website. On a rare occasion, last minute seats may become available. In that case, check our website approximately 4 hours before the event’s start time. That is when we post any last-minute seats available.
What should I wear to a PS UNDERGROUND event?
Some of our events have suggested themed attire. It will be listed on the description of the event itself. When no suggested themed attire is listed, we still encourage you to dress more flamboyantly then usual. Bangles, boas, bowlers, bow ties, suspenders, sequins or anything that sparkles are always encouraged and appropriate.
Does PS UNDERGROUND host private events?
Yes, we host private events from 8 to 80+. Please check out our “Private Events” page. There you can see a list of some of the themed events to choose from or allow us to create a new event exclusively for your group. Just fill out the form on that page to start planning your customized PS UNDERGROUND event.
