How long is a PS UNDERGROUND experience?

Like any good party, some evenings have a way of slipping by faster than expected.

Brunches, lunches, afternoon teas, and cocktail-only events typically last between 1½ and 2 hours, while most dinner experiences run approximately 2½ hours. Some of our more elaborate immersive dining adventures may continue a bit longer as the evening unfolds and the story takes over.

The scheduled start and approximate end times for each event are always listed on the event page so you can plan accordingly.

Can I attend alone?

Absolutely. Many guests attend PS UNDERGROUND on their own and quickly become part of the conversation at our communal tables. In fact, it's one of our favorite parts of the experience.

With every event comes a new mix of people, fresh conversations, and often a few new friendships. Whether you're visiting Palm Springs, new to the area, or simply looking for a different kind of night out, PS UNDERGROUND is the perfect place to pull up a chair and join the table.

Is PS UNDERGROUND good for celebrations?

Absolutely. Birthdays, anniversaries, engagements, reunions, retirements, and milestone moments are celebrated at PS UNDERGROUND all the time.

While we may not be able to individually recognize every occasion during the evening, the communal atmosphere, shared experience, and sense of occasion that comes with every event make PS UNDERGROUND a wonderful place to gather and celebrate with the people who matter most.

Can children attend?

Most PS UNDERGROUND experiences are designed for guests 21 and over due to the length of the events, communal seating, included cocktails, and the content of some performances.

If you are booking the venue for a private event, we are delighted to welcome guests of all ages and can tailor the experience to your group.  

How quickly do events sell out?

Many PS UNDERGROUND experiences sell out days or even weeks in advance, particularly holiday events and limited-run performances. If an event interests you, we encourage booking early or joining our mailing list for advance access to newly announced events.

What should I wear?

Some events encourage themed attire, and if that's the case you'll find suggestions in the event description. Otherwise, we encourage guests to have fun with it and dress a little more fabulously than they normally would. Sequins, suspenders, vintage flair, cocktail attire, statement jewelry, colorful jackets, and anything that sparkles are always welcome. At PS UNDERGROUND, there is no such thing as being overdressed.

What if I cannot attend?

Tickets are non-refundable but are fully transferable to another guest. If you need to transfer your seats, simply contact us at least 24 hours before the event with the new guest's information and we'll take care of the rest.

Does PS UNDERGROUND host private events?

Absolutely. PS UNDERGROUND is available for private celebrations, corporate events, holiday parties, client appreciation events, milestone birthdays, weddings, fundraisers, and just about any occasion that deserves something a little more memorable than a banquet room and a buffet line.

How often do events change?

Quite often. Most PS UNDERGROUND events are created specifically for a particular theme, performer, season, or moment in time and may never return again in exactly the same form.

New experiences are introduced throughout the year, giving guests plenty of reasons to come back and discover what's next.

Can dietary restrictions be accommodated?

Absolutely. With advance notice, Chef Dave and our culinary team are happy to accommodate many dietary preferences and restrictions including vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, gluten-free, and celiac-friendly meals.

Because each event features a secret menu served communally and revealed course by course, there may occasionally be restrictions that we are unable to accommodate. If your dietary needs are unusual or severe, we encourage you to contact us before purchasing tickets so we can discuss your options.

Are tables communal?

Most guests are seated at our signature communal tables where conversations begin quickly and strangers often leave as friends. If your reservation includes multiple guests, your party will always be seated together. If friends or family members purchase tickets separately but would like to join your table, simply include the names of everyone you'd like to sit with at the time of purchase and we'll do everything we can to make it happen.

Like a good dinner party, however, seating plans have a way of setting like concrete as the event approaches. While we'll always try to help, requests to move seats or combine parties on the evening of the event, after guests have already been assigned to tables, may not be possible.

Are drinks included in the ticket price?

For most PS UNDERGROUND experiences that include a full meal, the answer is yes. Unless otherwise noted in the event description, your ticket includes free-flowing beer, wine, cocktails, mocktails, and other non-alcoholic beverages throughout the evening.

Our bartenders also create specialty cocktails inspired by each event, adding another delicious layer to the immersive experience.

For events where dinner is not part of the experience, such as cocktail receptions, lounge events, or specialty gatherings, beverages are available for purchase and billed upon consumption.
